As the church began touching more lives with the Good News, we also experienced struggles, rebellion and other unpleasant situations in the church. During these events, everyone's hearts were revealed. The Holy Spirit convicted many, some rebelled and quit going to Church, while others repented and we are now seeing them restored and moving ahead.
A couple from Colorado, Ric and Lynelle Defletsen came for six weeks and trained us to worship the name of Jesus Christ on Austerlitz Street for the Music Festival of 2005. The satanic group (that was under our window the previous year) was very upset as we had taken their spot. After four hours of worshiping the Lord we experienced a breakthrough: The presence of the King entered Strasbourg by Austerlitz street. A week after, a group of 26 youth from Colorado and 20 from other Foursquare churches in France came and together we evangelized and worshiped the Lord once again on the Austerlitz street and Strasbourg's town. A month later, the Lord sent another group of 20 Christians from England in order to help the Evangelical churches of Strasbourg in meeting the city's authority. Strasbourg's authorities were giving permission to Muslim for many events and were giving money to build their mosque but were opposing the BBQ evangelization weekend of Evangelical Churches. We were so excited to see this group of Christians under our window to worship the Lord and evangelized. It was so special. We prayed together and miracles occurred. The town asked forgiveness to the churches and let us evangelized. It thanked us for what we did (all the evangelical churches) and was impressed.
And guess what , by a miracle, two days later, we moved in the most awesome house. Our new home on Esperance (Hope) Street meets all the church's and family's need. We worship the Lord without disturbing our neighbors, Joseph has his room for the first time in France. We have a meeting room; a music room, and an office, and that less expensive than our first apartment in France. You cannot imagine what it represents for us foreigners without money, without rights, without power in this country. We are in awe in front of the majesty and the love of our Lord. It would be too long to write this awesome testimony, so we will do it in an other newsletter
The blessings are coming down on us as an ocean's wave. We are now in Linglosheim, a city at the entrance of Strasbourg when coming from Colmar.
To God be the Glory. His goodness lasts forever.
We are currently developing disciples who, we hope, are going to take care of others. We have full confidence in God that He will surprise us by signs and miracles. We are expecting a fantastic year.
