Fall 2007 report from France
“The people walking in darkness have seen
a great light; on those
living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. You
have
enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as
people rejoice at the harvest, as men rejoice when dividing the
plunder… Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no
end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that
time on and forever.”

Many captives have been set free.
New hope
As we enter the New Year we are considering the year 2007 with pleasure and new hope for the future. The Lord has conquered new territories in France, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The Good News has been preached to the poor, the yoke that burden His people has been broken, many captives have been set free, and strongholds destroyed. Many French gave this report: “We waited this moment for so many years, and it came through you. Praise the Lord! We are free of our guilt, fear and shame. We can serve the Lord with joy. Halleluiah.”Using Cleansing
Stream Ministries seminar (that we have translated in
French), we are teaching the participants to become true disciples of
Christ, in France, Switzerland...
Cleansing Stream is a strategic key to reach French speaking countries
The Lord gave us a very good
Word in the book of Amos 9:11-15 showing that we are entering in an
abundant ministry time. We had a full season: working in 4
Evangelical churches with participants coming from different
backgrounds: Catholics, Evangelicals non-charismatic and charismatic,
and traditional protestants. Through CSM (Cleansing Stream Ministries)
our mission is to claim that Christ came to forgive our sins, purify
our iniquities and set us free when we repent of our sinful ways and
receive Him as our Lord. This is Good News. The Seminar allowed
us to teach the participants to become true disciples of Christ,
teaching them to obey His commands. I may confess that we use the same
strategy than Christ and Paul. We are reaching firstly a
targeted
group who has already a partial knowledge of God and a desire to see
a change in their life. It is amazing to see how the
people claiming to be Christians are in deep need to make Jesus-Christ
their Savior and their Lord. During the Seminar, many gave their lives
to Christ and more made the commitment to trust Him and walk in
obedience to His commands.
As missionaries, after 8 years we have assessed the damage in the churches, studied and experienced the obstacles to the Gospel, the strongholds, and the French culture; we adapted the CSM material in a way that will touch and transform the francophone world. For the moment, we are glad of the results. We can’t count how many people jumped in our arms, kissing us and thanking us for our ministry.
They were so thankful for the way we led them to the presence of the Father and the unity of the Body of Christ through our way of worship, our vivid teachings and thoughtful discussion meetings. The study material, that we translated and put careful diligence to offer the best, was treasured by all. The discipleship program was transformational and the two day Retreat was always the strongest time for everyone, because they encountered the redeemed power of God’s love through the different components of this ministry. They left the Retreat transformed; their face shining of the glory of Christ, free of the heavy yoke of sin and a new understanding of who they are in Christ.

A solid foundation for future generations.
France and Switzerland
In the Fall season we were able, with these 12
week Seminars and Retreats programs, to touch 96 participants in France
and Switzerland.This is pretty good because we were still working on the translation of the material and not yet ready to expand it. Those participants came mostly because of a class we gave previously when we were testing the material with French Christians of different backgrounds.
We share the vision
We also had the chance to share the vision with many pastors at a
pastor’s gathering in October with Jack Hayford. About 500 pastors and
leaders were present. We had a booth and were able to make many
contacts with pastors who are very interested about this ministry.
Among them many were Swiss from the French part of Switzerland.
Already, our ministry expanded in this country. The CSM national
coordinator who is Swiss German is giving us the French part of
Switzerland.We see the favor that the Lord
is giving us. We praise Him
because we have a glimpse of His mighty plan. One of the
important churches in Strasbourg said that we may be one of the five
gifts that Christ
is giving to the Body of Christ in Alsace.

Luxembourg, Gabon and Niger
Although we are still at the beginning, if the Word of the Lord
comes to pass, we may experiment a revival in the land. We saw
the captives set free; men and women of God raising up, praying
and building up their local church by their love, words and services.
The
victims are becoming heroes, and selfishness transformed by fervent
service and commitment.Roland and Viviane Kirch are proposing the Seminar to the Evangelical Alliance in Luxembourg (Roland is president of this alliance). Fortunately, Luxembourg, as well as Switzerland, is only a two hour drive from our city. And this year, the high speed train and discount airlines are in our town, making the travel quick and cheap for Paris, Nice and many others towns. Praise the Lord! We live in such a great time we don’t want to miss it. We have also some contacts with Gabon and Niger in Africa and we are thinking about how to reach these countries with this tool.
Building foundation
We see a lot of opportunities. If it is well done, it may make the greatest difference in France. We don’t want to go too quickly, we must strengthen the foundation in order for this ministry to expand and bring forth fruits for generations. We need wisdom and patience to continue developing a good strategic plan and discipleship process in the francophone regions in order to spread this wonderful tool.So in 2008, as we conquer the French territories for Christ, we will consolidate the position already conquered and continually test the progression of the disciples. We are very glad for the different resources that many sent us these last months. These books, Seminar’s DVD, CD’s of teaching and Christian movies, are a great value and encouragement. As we study them, we should be able to use the material in France.

Please,—pray that our outreach to the French speaking countries using Cleansing Stream Ministries will be efficient to disciple these nations and bring the truth to transform them.
—pray for our President, Sarkosy. He offers hope for a change in attitude toward Christians.
—pray for helpers in our ministry so it increases in speed.
—pray for protection over our family.
—Francois needs to find a good job to support the family and ministry, but at the same time, the ministry needs François to help spread it in the French countries... this is a dilemna.
