  Hi everyone!  My name is Eve Gendron, I am Francois and Nathalie's daughter and I will be writing short newsletters from now on.  Let me know what you think!

  I am reporting briefly on our Summer Cleansing Stream Regional Retreat in Strasbourg.  Each Retreat we have done in France demonstrated a magnificent character of God... that is glorious.   We are full of expectative for what He has in store for the French speaking countries.  With 70 participants, this was by far the biggest retreat we had had since the beginning. We trained 15 pastors and leaders among the participants and they were amazed and greatly satisfied by the results of the Seminar. But at the approach of the Retreat, a cloud of unbelief and fear surrounded them. Thanks to the Lord because His word came to build our confidence, telling us that He will fight for us. The Lord revealed His plan to destroy all the French enemies; their time is over. Praise the Lord ! Open your eyes on what the Lord is doing in France during the next decade.  You will be amazed.

   As the retreat started, we truly saw God moving and operating great and mighty things around us. While we were destroying strongholds of rejection at the Retreat,  a spirit of hatred started reacting as Francois and Nathalie  prayed over someone.  The spirit manifested itself strongly and jumped at Nathalie's throat with full force.  "If God is with me, who can be against me?" Romans 8:31 So Nathalie was not impressed and with full authority rebuke the spirit.  All the while, every participant stood up as one and moved to the front of the church, hands raised and fighting through prayer.  A moment later, the person was freed from many spirits. It build the faith of the leaders and participants and all started to fight their enemies with zeal and expectative from the Lord. And the Lord was faithful to them. He moved among the leaders and participants setting the captives free. For many, it was spectacular.

    Nevertheless, a very simple deliverance touched me deeply. A lady, (89 years old), did not seem to be in need of any deliverance whenever we prayed for her.  Yet, as we spoke about 'the pathway to purity', asking the participants to write a list of sexual experience they want to be cleansed, this lady had one single thing written on her piece of paper.  It did not appear to be much compared to what all the others had on theirs, but when she ripped that paper, tears of joy and relief ran down her cheeks.  "I waited 70 years for this burden to be lifted off my shoulders.  Thank you."  If this old lady, who had lived far from the sins our generation lives in today needed this ministry, then how much more important is it for the French society?

Our God is an awesome God and He reigns for evermore!  We ended the retreat with a 10 minutes of great hand of applause to our Lord who fought for us and destroyed our enemies !  Oh, Holy Spirit, keep moving through your people in France.  Without you, we can do nothing and with you we will see a nation be transformed for His glory. If you could see the beauty of their face after the retreat, it was a great reward.
