| Dear friends and supporters we want to
wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. We celebrated our American Thanksgiving this last Sunday. Thirty people joined our feast including twenty unbelievers. Last month, we also did an outreach and twenty unbelievers came and were touched by the Lord. The atmosphere during our Thanksgiving was filled with joy and celebration. We received, in fact, this command from the Lord; "Be joyful at your Feast" and "For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete." Deut. 16:14,15 . If we are not mistaken, Thanksgiving actually comes from the Tabernacle Feast where the Lord called us from our comfortable lifestyle to remember that everything we have comes from Him. Our wealth, our properties, our comfort, health and aboundance on our tables come from His gracious hand. We have to give Him our thankfulness for everything we have and our trust for tomorrow. Gratefulness, trust and joy are such powerful weapons which we possess in time of crisis. Paul exhorts us to "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice ! ... Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Then Paul said " I have learned to be content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." Phil.4:4-7;12 As missionaries, we have experienced some days where our tomorrows were filled with troubles and serious needs and we have learned to imitate Paul. We would like to encourage you to obey this command of the Lord " Rejoice in the Lord, rejoice! Be thankful and content." Dear loved ones ! Your gift, your prayers, and encouragement are received with such gratitude. You have sent gifts again and again and again all throughout the year when we were in need. They are a fragrant offering even more pleasant than the wonderful roast turkey on Thanksgiving day. Your love offerings are overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Be assured that each time we receive from you we give thanks to the Lord and then we sow in the life of the people by sharing with them the Kingdom of God and the Gospel in many ways. May our God of love make all grace abound to you, supply and increase your store of seed and enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 2 Cor. 9:12 Praise the Lord!
